I am a freelance journalist and have been based in East Africa since August 2009.
I write about Sub Saharan Africa for Spanish newspaper El País. Before this, I was the correspondent in the region of the Spanish news agency Efe from January to September 2010.
In between, I travelled the region and wrote for international media like IRIN and Jane’s and, in Spanish, Periodismo Humano, Foreign Policy and Radio France International.
I have written from Somalia, Egypt, South Sudan, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenia, Ethiopia and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
